Much like in New Zealand, Australian retailers all struggling to keep up with demand or the PS4 console.
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has now revealed there should be more PS4 shipments coming before Christmas. Retailers weren’t able to stock more PS4 consoles until 2014 as people pre-ordered the console early and the first shipments were already sold out.
Still, it’s expected the second shipments for the PS4 will be gone in a flash. If you cannot get one before Christmas, early 2014 is the earliest time you might be able to receive one.
The console has been selling like hotcakes around the world with many retailers putting customers on waiting lists.

November 29, 2013 at 9:29 AMI’m ropeable. Harvey Norman at Lake Haven, NSW only got 12 consoles in, and I was 13th on the list. Yet, they had my $400 worth of games and accessories which I had pre-ordered too. Now I have a whole bunch of plastic that I can’t use.

December 1, 2013 at 2:41 PMIts the same here in NZ,
Pre-ordered my PS4 before the first shipment cut off and paid for it up front at Smiths City… got rung the day before launch to say sorry the entire Smiths City nation wide never got consoles…But was told 2nd shipment will fill pre-orders and I will get mine then. Utterly gutted to say the least…Been in constant contact with my local Smiths City manager and even they are annoyed at not getting there shipment as they were meant too…Like you Adam I have my games but no console.
Went to Harvey Normans and pre-ordered me the last console on there 2nd shipment of which they are only getting 9 PS4’s!!!!
So either way I hope to get my PS4 like I should have on the 29th!!!!!
I wish anyone who missed out but were on the first lists all the best in getting your PS4 before xmas
