It has now been confirmed that Vanille will return for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
Japan’s Weekly Jump magazine featured an article about her return in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. She will be wearing a funky new costume that is unlike what she wore in the previous games. Thanks to Siliconera for scanning the above image from the magazine.
She has awakened many years after she turned to crystal. It’s said she can now listen to the voices of the dead, and wishes to put them to rest.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is due out February 11th in North America and February 14th in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
