Valve has released its first demonstration video of its innovative gamepad, Steam Controller.
The Steam Controller is currently being designed by Valve to bring the Steam gaming experience to the living room. The gamepad is nothing of which gamers have ever seen, with dual track pads, haptic feedback, touch screen functionality and 16-buttons all of which can be completely reconfigured to suit play style; Valve has said they intend to make the gamepad completely hackable, to encourage experimentation with the controller for a better gaming experience. The whole Steam catalogue will be compatible with Steam Controller including older games of which were not intended for controllers.
The video features Valve employee demonstrating the controller on Portal 2, Civilisation 5, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Papers Please. Check it out below!
