Directly after defeating the sixth gym in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, your next place of interest to move along the story is the Poke Ball Factory that is also located in Laverre City.
The only mechanic in this area that you have to utilize is the conveyor belt switch that changes the directions. You will only have to do this once after facing a few of Team Flare’s members. Once facing all of the Team Flare Grunts, you will face off against higher level people in the organization, including a final battle where you team up with Serena. There is a wide range of different types you will face in this area, but the most common type you will see is Dark, so your best matchup against these is Fighting, Bug, or Fairy. You will also see Poison types multiple times, so also bring a Psychic or Ground type to take those down quickly.
