Right after beating the seventh gym in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, you will run across Serena where you will both receive a Holo Clip from the leader of Team Flare. At this point you need to heal up and fly to Lumiose City. You should be very nearby Lysandre Cafe once you land, which is your next destination located in Magenta Plaza. Now you may be feeling a little deja vu as this area is similar to Team Rocket’s secret hideout in Celadon’s Game Room in the original Pokemon Red and Blue.
In the cafe, you are to speak to both the waiter and waitress which will give you a code to open a secret entrance to Lysandre Labs. Once inside the labs, you will instantly face off with Team Flare Lysandre. He will tell you that you need the Elevator Key to continue, so now you will face off against a number of Team Flare Grunts. It is a little big of a maze, but not too hard to get around. Along the way you will also run into higher level Team Flare members to face off with, of which Team Flare Mable will drop the Elevator Key. It will all be capped with a battle against Team Flare Xerosic.
As with the Poke Ball factory, you will most often see Dark and Poison types, so once again it is a good idea to bring along a Fighting, Bug, or Fairy type to take on the Dark types and a Psychic and Ground type for the Poison types.
