Microsoft has announced today that Halo: Spartan Assault will be coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One this December.
Halo: Spartan Assault is a twin-stick-controlled top-down shooter that takes place between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4. The game was originally released on Windows-8 based PC and tablets for $7. As of right now, there’s currently no word on pricing but let’s expect it to be at least $9.99.
According to 343 Industries, Halo: Spartan Assault will support online multiplayer co-op on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, though cross-platform play is not possible. In addition, the recently announced “Operation Hydra Pack” will be included in the console version.
