When Grand Theft Auto Online launched a few weeks ago, it was a very bumpy start after being plagued with many different issues. Last week it was announced by Rockstar Games that players would be receiving $500,000 for free as a makeup for the issues at launch. We also found out that this would be split over two separate deposits of $250,000. Now Rockstar has tweeted that the first of these deposits will be hitting player’s accounts sometime this week.
To make sure that you receive this money, you have to play Grand Theft Auto Online at some point in the month of October. You must also download the latest title update 1.04 fixed some other issues with online play. Keep an eye out for your Grand Theft Auto Online account later in the week for your first $250,000. Rockstar has yet to announce when the second round of $250,000 will hit, but we will bring you that news as soon as it is released.
