A month following the boost of Xbox One‘s GPU from 800mhz to 853mhz, Microsoft announced recently that the CPU will also be getting a boost from 1.6ghz to 1.75ghz.
While this is good news in terms of performance, we still don’t know when the Xbox One will ship out but according to Yusef Mehdi, Xbox Chief Marketing Officer, the console is now in full production with plans still on for a November 2013 launch.
“This will be the biggest launch we’ve ever done by a wide margin in terms of units shipped at launch,” Mehdi said.
Well, with the PS4 and Xbox One set to release in two months, November can’t come soon enough! As always, we’ll have extensive coverage on both next-generation platforms as we head closer to their release dates.
