Since Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us released in mid-June to critical acclaim, fans have been dying for new content to the possible Game of the Year. The game has gotten a few patches, including the most recent one that added Interrogation Mode to multiplayer, but gamers have really been waiting for single-player DLC. A recent AMA on Reddit with Creative Director Neil Druckmann said that their team was currently working on single-player DLC. Now the game’s director has taken to Twitter to talk about the next round of DLC.
The Last of Us‘ director Bruce Straley posted a tweet to his Twitter this morning that said “Ok party people, more #TheLastofUs DLC info to be revealed THIS WEEK! Hang tight.” With the hint of single-player DLC being worked on and now the game’s director tweeting about DLC coming, hopefully this means that the DLC he Straley is hinting at could end up being that.
Other DLC is great and all, but with The Last of Us being heralded for its fantastic story and characters, some sort of content to continue part of the story is what gamers want more than anything. Hopefully this will be that announcement we have been waiting for.
