Demon Wall (Mini Boss)
Reward: 30 Allagan Tomestone of Philosophy
– Demon Wall can be quite a challenging foe to take down. In this boss fight, players will have to move often. Be prepared to dance in that one enclosed space.
– When you first enter the Demon’s Wall domain, you will notice that there’s a narrow pathway. Well, you will have to make sure that you will not get knocked off by Demon Wall.
– The main mechanic in this fight is to not fall off and prevent poison attack. This fight is also a DPS race.
– At the start of the fight, Demon Wall will spawn a purple stripe in the middle. Once you see it, move to the side and after a few seconds, two purple stripes will then appear at each side. Be sure that you move fast enough. For casters, I suggest to not cast a spell when you are on either side of the pathway. This process will repeat twice and the boss will then cast Repel that pushes back the entire group. To prevent getting knocked off, be sure that you are in the middle before he cast repel.
– After casting two repels, he will then spawn two bees. These bees must be taken down immediately as they have powerful AOE attacks that can wipe the group out. If you are the healer in the group, both bees will start off with you. To prevent the healer pulling the aggro on both bees, have the two DPS take down the left bee and have the tank get the aggro of the right bee. Healer must keep on spamming AOE heals in this fight – White Mage should keep using Medica II.
Anandaboga (Final Boss)
Reward: 50 Allagan Tomestone of Philosophy / 40 Allagan Tomesetone of Mythology
– The final boss in this dungeon is Anandaboga. Unlike the slight challenge that the Demon Wall had, Anandaboga is easier to take down.
– Before initiating the fight, make sure the tank knows where to tank the boss. Look at the image above. On the upper right hand corner is the spot where the tank should hold the boss down.
– As soon as the fight starts, healer should look at the party frame and keep an eye on the Disease debuff that the tank will get. When the tank is inflicted with this debuff, the heal that the healer will do will be somewhat nullified. Luckily, you can use Esuna to remove the debuff.
– There are four moves that everyone needs to look out for:
1. The frontal cone attack where the tank will be exposed to. This is normal and the tank should expect to get the Disease debuff. Make sure the healer uses Esuna to remove it.
2. A rear cone tail attack. Since you positioned him correctly, you don’t have to worry about this since it’s very likely for the DPS and healer to get attacked by its tail.
3. A massive AOE damage. You will know it’s coming when you see the boss casting it (you’ll see a purple aura around him). To prevent this massive AOE damage, go behind the Gargoyl statue near the tank and the boss.
– When boss drops health to around 75%, Anandaboga will animate a Gargoyle from the statue you see in the area. This is the order: Upper left, Lower Left, Lower Right, and Upper Right. Since the tank is tanking the boss at the upper right, you will not have to worry about it and by the time that spawns, the boss should already be dead.
– After the Gargoyles are down, the boss then gains a new ability. Anandaboga will randomly target a party member with a purple thread line. If you are that person, immediately run away from the group as an AOE ball will be casted that deals damage. Be sure to bring the ball where the tank is tanking the boss.
