Did Target just accidentally give the release date for some of Nintendo’s biggest upcoming titles? It is very possible, as the product pages for these games now feature a release date that do not seem like a typical placeholder date.
Target currently has a release date attached to Wii Party U, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on their website. According to Gamnesia, they also had a date with Wind Waker HD, but that product page is no longer even up at all. Including that date that has been taken down, the dates that were listed on Target’s site earlier include:
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Wii U) – October 4
Wii Party U (Wii U) – October 25
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U) – November 15
Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS) – November 22
Super Mario 3D World (Wii U) – December 6
Now the question is whether these are the real dates, which ones would think could be as they aren’t usual placeholder dates. There is a very good chance that this may be answered during the Nintendo Direct being held tomorrow morning.
