Bethesda’s highly awaited MMORPG based on their popular The Elder Scrolls franchise is still months away from release, but is already arguably one of the most anticipated games coming out over the next year. With the last game in the series, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, being the smash hit that it was, there was no surprise when a new game was announced over a year ago. Rumors had swirled for years that Besthesda was working on an MMORPG for the series, but there was no confirmation until that announcement.
Now we have a better look at the upcoming release courtesy of IGN from Quakecon in an about 20 minute long video of actual gameplay from the game. The footage showcases multiple aspects of the game, including: character creation, interaction with other characters in the game, combat, and horse riding. The Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled for release in Spring 2014 for PC, Mac, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Check out the new gameplay video below:
