In the latest issue of CoroCoro, the magazine revealed that Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will feature “mega” evolutions on select Pokemon.
When Pokemon X and Pokemon Y launches this October, fans will have an opportunity to evolve their Pokemon into their “mega” form. As of right now, the method to achieve a Pokemon’s “mega” evolution is unknown. So far, the following Pokemon are confirmed to have “mega” evolutions along with their new ability: MegaBlaziken (Speed Boost), MegaAbsol (Magic Bounce), MegaMawile (Huge Power), MegaMewtwo (Insomnia), MegaLucario (Adaptability), and MegaAmpharos (Mold Breaker).
As we head closer to the release of both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, we should hear more information about this in the coming days or weeks.
