In probably some of the least shocking gaming news ever, Luigi was confirmed as a playable character for the new Super Smash Bros. games for Wii U and 3DS during today’s Nintendo Direct.
With being one of the most iconic Nintendo characters, it comes to no one’s surprise that he made the roster again. The surprises comes with him being unveiled so early. After being an unlockable in all three previous games in the Super Smash Bros. series, could this early announcement mean that he will be a playable character from the beginning for once? It will be quite awhile before we find out as the game’s release is still a long ways away.
