After only knowing that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD was coming in October for the last few months, we now have an official release date. This information was given thanks to a press release by Nintendo about a special stop in Seattle for the Symphony of the Goddesses tour. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released for the Nintendo Wii U on October 4.
The press release says that the Symphony of the Goddesses concert in Seattle on September 12 will feature many elements that are not part of the usual stops. The lobby will be filled with Wind Waker HD images, fan art, and kiosks where you can play the game itself. The fan art will be decided based on a contest on the Nintendo Facebook page, of which the best will be displayed. Fans will be also able to dress up and interact with one another to take pictures during this time.
In addition to being able to play The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD there, you will also have the opportunity to try out the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS. This will of course be followed by the Symphony of the Goddesses concert, which I still hope to see one day.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released on October 4 for the Nintendo Wii U.
