This past week we learned the identity of the sixth DLC character for NetherRealm’s DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us would be the highly fan requested Zatanna. We now know she will officially be available for download this coming Tuesday.
As with every other DLC character in the game, there will be a compatibility pack to accompany the release with a free skin. This time, the free skin will be Cyborg Superman. This Superman is definitely not Clark Kent though. It is Hank Henshaw, who after Superman’s death at the hands of Doomsday, crafted a body that was genetically identical to Superman. He tried to pass off as the real Superman with amnesia, therefore couldn’t explain his part cyborg body before becoming a supervillain. This all fell in the Reign of the Superman arc which also involved three others who tried to replace Superman, whether for good or bad. Those other three included Man of Steel (later shortened to Steel), The Last Son of Krypton (Eradicator), and The Metropolis Kid (Superboy). Could we possibly see a three skin pack with the rest of these? I know I’d pay for one.
Zatanna will be available for Injustice: Gods Among Us on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 for $4.99 and 400 MS Points on Tuesday. No Wii U release has been announced yet at this time. It was already posted earlier in the week when it was announced, but here is the Zatanna gameplay trailer again for those that have not seen it. Check it out below:
