Electronic Arts has today announced that Gary Neville will be joining the EA Sports team in a FIFA 14 Ultimate Team ambassadorial role.
The role for Ultimate Team, or FUT, is currently only confirmed for the ongoing 2013/14 season but will surely be extended depending on its success. Neville will contribute a fortnightly column hosted by EA talking about in-form players from the Premier League. The present England coach and most capped right back for his county had this to say about the deal:
“It’s great to be working with the team at EA SPORTS. FIFA has become such an integral part of football culture that I hope to bring benefit to the fans. FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars, I can’t wait to see myself out on the (digital) pitch again.”
