Final Fantasy XIV Guide – Changing to Different Jobs

Warrior

The Warrior comes from the lines of the Marauder class. Players who pick the Warrior as a job will be wielding axes. Being a Warrior, players must learn how to tank since they will most likely be on the front lines in a group. Similar to Paladin, a Warrior will be focusing on Vitality as their main stat since they will have to rely on their health to stay longer in battle as they mitigate damage from enemies. One of the features of being a Warrior is that they are aggressive when tanking.

How to Change: To switch from the Marauder class to a Warrior, you must have the following levels for a particular class:
– Marauder (Level 30)
– Gladiator (Level 15)

White Mage

The White Mage comes from the line of the Conjurer class. Just like in other Final Fantasy games, the White Mage acts as a support character in a group. The job specializes in healing and buff spells, making sure everyone in the group stays alive. Being a White Mage, players must focus in two following stats: Mend for heals or Intelligence for damage output. Aside from healing and casting buff to everyone in the group, the White Mages can also receive a powerful Holy spell.

How to Change: To switch from the Conjurer r class to a White Mage, you must have the following levels for a particular class:
– Conjurer (Level 30)
– Arcanist (Level 15)
