In about five days, Square Enix will finally launch the early access program for the much awaited Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. If you are among those gamers who pre-ordered the game and have been waiting for the registration page to go live, now is the time.
For gamers who have pre-ordered the game at participating stores like GameStop and Amazon, you should have received a code. With the code that you have, you can redeem them at the following website: http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/us. Simply follow the instruction to get your account flagged for early access.
Those who have been eager to play the game early and have successfully registered their code, the early access for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will go live this Saturday, August 24th at 2AM. Fans who have participated in the recently concluded beta will be able to continue their character with no limitation whatsoever. What you will play during early access is the full content of the game.
As a quick reminder, gamers who will pre-order Final Fantasy XIV will not only receive early access but will also get exclusive items such as a Cait Sith Doll and a Moogle Hat. Interested? It’s not too late to pre-order the game! Visit your local game retailer and ask.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available both digital and retail this August 27th on both PS3 and PC. Check back with us later this week for our coverage of the game.
NOTE: If you are getting an error in redeeming your code, don’t freak out! Due to the high volume of people redeeming their code, you might experience some slow downs or errors. If so, try again later.

August 23, 2013 at 12:00 AM@James If you pre-ordered it online you should have gotten an email with the early access code, If you ordered it from the store the code should be on your receipt.

August 23, 2013 at 2:09 AM@James I didn’t get the code in an email or on my receipt. I had to call GameStop customer service and they emailed it to me. If you don’t have your receipt, go back and have them reprint it. =) They emailed me with the code within the hour =)
