ATLUS‘ new retelling of the first entry in the Etrian Odyssey series is readying up for its North American release with a fresh new trailer and accompaniment of screenshots.
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl focuses around a more story-centered version of the events taking place in the first Etrian Odyssey title. Released in late June in Japan, The Millenium Girl offers a more traditional role playing take on the dungeon crawler genre with Story Mode offering a set party of characters whose skills can be developed to the player’s tastes rather than a party consisting of combinations like five Medics. For those looking for an experience more in line with the previous Etrian Odyssey titles, players can choose to delve into Classic Mode, featuring traditional Etrian Odyssey gameplay updated with all of the modern conveniences and mechanics from Etrian Odyssey IV.
