On your journey to defeat the Ancient Dragon and find the Dragon’s Crown, you will have several ways to maximize the effectiveness of your group.
One of the ways to make sure you are putting the best damage output that you can at the enemies on screen is to find an animal that you can mount. In Dragon’s Crown, there are a few that you can mount at certain stages of the game. When mounting an animal, you can only do one certain attack only.
When taking out enemies on screen, watch out for the ones pictured above when they fall in battle. In most cases, they will allow anyone from the four people to mount them. If you are playing by yourself with three random AI, you can give orders to the other three AI characters to mount them. If you want them to get off from it, you can easily do it by pressing a certain button. For those who are playing with friends, it’s best to co-ordinate with them on who will take the mount. While on a mount, you can double up the damage that you can do.
One thing to keep in mind when mounting an animal is that they can die too. Each of enemies that you use as a mount will have an HP bar. When they get damage from the other enemies on screen, they will die and you will not be able the mount anymore.
