It has been confirmed that there will be no PS4 or Xbox One version of Batman: Arkham Origins.
Batman: Arkham Origins’ senior producer Ben Mattes confirmed the following on twitter:
I can 100% confirm that Arkham Origins will only ship on the announced platforms. It is not coming to PS4 or Xbox One.
If you are a Batman fan, Arkham Origins will only be released on the PC, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360. There will be no next-generation Batman video game this year. A PS4 and Xbox One Batman game is sure to be available in the near future though…

August 17, 2013 at 9:18 AMI guess the PS4’s release date will determine rather or not I pick up a copy of Batman: Arkham Origins, because if the PS4 comes out in October, I’m not going to buy a PS3 game with it or let it collect dust while I continue playing my PS3. On the other hand, if the PS4 comes out in late November or later, I’ll have plenty of time to enjoy a new game on my PS3.

August 17, 2013 at 12:35 PMRocksteady are making the follow up to Arkham City on next gen consoles, that’s why someone else is voicing batman in origins. Kevin Conroy is working with Rocksteady.
WBros Montreal are using the current gen engine Rocksteady used for Asylum & City as they wanted another Arkham game on PS3 & 360 but Rocksteady were already pushing ahead with the new graphics engine for PS4 & XB1.
No date from Rocksteady for release of their game but it will be a massive game because of the extra power and a lot more DC characters will be involved.
