Ubisoft has announced that the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Watch Dogs will be the same as Xbox One/PS4.
This was revealed on a blog post that announced more features about Watch Dogs. They said that the game’s engine is flexible so that PS3/Xbox 360 owners will “still get an amazing experience”.
In terms of content, the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Watch Dogs will be “the same” on PS4/Xbox One. The only differences are of visual quality and there will be less characters seen on the street in the current generation editions.
If you don’t plan on buying a new console this year, Watch Dogs on current generation consoles will still be playable. You’ll just be missing out on the prettiness that next generation graphics can produce.
