When XSEED first announced Rune Factory 4, the game was originally scheduled for release sometime during the summer. With summer coming to a close, the game’s official release date is still nowhere in sight.
On the official Facebook page of XSEED Games, a curious fan asked them directly as to when they can expect the game. It seems that Rune Factory 4 has been delayed due to the QA team needing more time with it. That being said, the game will most likely release sometime late September or October, depending if the QA gets the job done fast.
Here’s the official statement of XSEED:
And we’re dying to get it to you, but the game is absolutely massive and taking much longer to QA (play through the English for quality assurance) than we originally anticipated.
Right now we could be looking at a late September or October release, but it will definitely be worth the wait.
