Atlus and Nintendo are partnering up to bring a promotion that’s sure to delight any RPG fan. From now until August 31st, players that purchase both Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem Awakening can receive a bonus $30 in Nintendo eShop currency that can be used on any title on the eShop platform, meaning both Nintendo 3DS and WiiU.
Both digital and physical copies of either game qualify for the bonus $30 eShop credit. The only caveat is that players must register both titles onto the same Club Nintendo account, either via digital purchase on the 3DS or with the red and white pin that’s included with most Nintendo titles these days. After registering either title, simply complete the registration survey to get credit for each title. Afterwards follow these simple instructions from Nintendo.
Once you’ve completed your surveys, log back into your Club Nintendo account and click on the $30 eShop Credit item in your To-Do list. It may take up to one hour for the Club Nintendo website to be updated with your To-Do list item. Click ‘redeem’ on the $30 eShop Credit item page and confirm your order to receive an activation code with a value of $30 in Nintendo eShop credit.
Activation codes must be retrieved at the Club Nintendo site by September 30th, 2013
Check back next week for our review of Shin Megami Tensei IV or have a gander at our thoughts on Fire Emblem Awakening.
