What the shell? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the upcoming digital download for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Steam, isn’t even out yet, but a new TMNT game has already been announced. Activision announced today that Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, created by Magic Pocket, will be coming out in October for Xbox 360, Wii, and 3DS.
Unlike Out of the Shadows, this game will be based completely on the ongoing Nickelodeon series with an authentic storyline that will be a bridge between the first two seasons of the show. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will feature side-scrolling drop-in and drop-out gameplay with up to four player local co-op action (Xbox 360 and Wii only) as fans of TMNT games of the past would expect. Additional game modes will be in the game, but none have been announced at this time.
