Square Enix has announced at the Japan Expo 2013 that Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will take full advantage of Sony’s cross-save feature. For those that don’t know, this means that save data can be transferred between the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions, allowing you to continue making progress regardless of your current location.
Other details that made their way out of the event include the fact that both games will ship on a single PS3 disc, whereas the Vita version will sell each game separately. The HD remakes for FFX and FFX-2 are expected to release later this year and will reward those looking to dive into these classics with a new 30-minute sequence.
