Following yesterday’s announcement that Euroleague teams will be in NBA 2K14, FIBA style rules will also be in the game too.
2K Sports Marketing Vice President Jason Argent:
“Our team is literally obsessed with making the game a perfect simulation of real life. So yes, we will incorporate all FIBA rules and respect the differences for the game to reflect them.”
FIBA rules are slightly different than NBA rules. One major difference is that the 3 point shooting line is closer than in the NBA. Not to mention in FIBA rules, they play have 10 minute quarters instead of 12 minute quarters in the NBA. There are some other minor differences in there too.
This is the first time Europeans teams will be in NBA 2K14 and I’m sure basketball fans around the world will love this new addition to the franchise.
