Much like with the PS3, the PS4 won’t need a bulky power brick for you to connect to it.
This was confirmed by Sony President Shuhei Yoshida on his official twitter account:
“The power is inside, so no brick outside.”
It has been confirmed that the Xbox One has a power brick much like every Xbox 360 console does.
One of the reasons why the original PS3 was so fat was because the power was housed inside the console. Many are wondering how Sony was able to make the PS4 so small this time with all the power inside of the console yet again.
