PlayStation Plus subscribers will know that they get free games per month. Sony has revealed the monetary amount of free games that were given.
The PlayStation Blog has revealed it has been a year since they started the “Instant Game Collection” for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Since that time, Sony gave away a total of 64 free PS3 and PS Vita games that were worth well over $1000.
Sony will be continuing this for PS4 owners too starting with a free version of Driveclub. Not to mention this is just stats from the North American PSN. PAL PSN users were given some different titles with their respective PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

And the ‘worth’ of the games is also debatable, as is the ‘free’ part since you’re paying for the service which actually includes these so called free games.
That being said, it’s kind of nice of them to do it.

July 16, 2013 at 7:39 PMNow this is why I hate plus users. They get all their free games and junk when people actually investing their life in something other than video games are working their butts off for money that we could be using on food and bills. Most of the subscribers are kids anyways…
