If you are one of the poor people that experienced troubles with the PS3 4.45 Firmware, you will be happy to know that a fix to the problem is coming next week.
The PlayStation Europe twitter page announced the following:
“Hi guys, we have identified the issue related to PS3 software update (4.45) that impacted a small number of PS3 systems earlier this week.
A new system software update is planned to be released on June 27 that resolves the issue.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience.”
This new system software should fix all of the bricked PS3 consoles. Hopefully Sony doesn’t release anymore flawed firmware from this point onward.
