As we all know, the battery life of the Wii U Game Pad is abysmal as it only lasts for up to two to four hours. If you’re one of those disappointed gamers who wishes the battery life is longer, Nintendo of Japan is releasing a much larger capacity battery for the Wii U Game Pad.
Compared to the original 1,500mAh in the original battery, the new one that Nintendo offers almost twice the power as it carries 2,500mAH. This means that the new battery will make everyone’s experience with the game pad longer that can last up to five to eight hours.
The 2,500mAH battery is currently only available in Japan for ¥3,150, or around $30. We’ll have to wait and see if Nintendo of America will bring over this battery in the West.
