When Grand Theft Auto IV was released back in 2008, many people were disappointed that the city was actually smaller than the world featured in San Andreas. This isn’t going to be an issue for Grand Theft Auto V.
The Official PlayStation Magazine has listed more details on the game and it explains that the map will be very large.
The Grand Theft Auto V map/playing world will be 3.5 times the size of the Western landscape that was featured in Red Dead Redemption. The world is bigger than San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV combined. In other words, this game is going to be HUGE.
It’s also worth noting that the environment in the game is varied too. You will see the countryside, beaches, mountains rivers, oceans deserts and of course the urban cities too. There is also wildlife, a dynamic weather system and a day/night cycle too!
Grand Theft Auto V is released worldwide from September 17th for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
