SCE officially announced today that Gran Turismo 6 is real and it’s coming this Holiday 2013 for the PlayStation 3.
In Gran Turismo 6, fans can expect new levels of authenticity to the ‘real driving simulator’ game they all loved. Expect new stunning tracks and cars, along with the revised user interface. With the game’s new engine, improvements on its operations and flexibility to expand the game with downloadable content are one of the things fans can expect in this new iteration. Also, connectivity with other devices such as smart phones and tablets will be introduced.
According to Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 5 sold over 10 million copies since it was launched in 2010. That alone is a small feat for the company and they’re excited to bring Gran Turismo 6 this year on the PS3. Fans can expect a playable demo to arrive this July on the PlayStation Store.
