Fans voted for weeks for who they want to see grace the cover for this year’s Madden 25 video game from EA. The votes have now closed and the cover athlete has now been revealed.
Former Detroit Lions player Barry Sanders won the final vote. He edged out Minnesota Vikings player Adrian Peterson. Peterson won the “new school” bracket for the voting, but lost out to Sanders who won both the “old school” and overall vote too.
This isn’t the first time Sanders has appeared on a Madden video game before. He also graced the cover of Madden NFL 2000 before he made his retirement just a year later.
Madden 25 will be out from August 27th and marks the 25th anniversary of the annual sports franchise.
Do you like Sanders as the cover athlete for Madden 25?
