SimCity received good reviews from critics but all seemed to go downhill once gamers got their hands on the game.
Initially some players found problems getting onto servers, then as we reported earlier EA decided to suspend advertising. To make matters worse after 1512 review, at the time of posting, by users on Amazon the game has an average of only 1 star. Currently, 1367 people have all rated the game as only 1 star and most have citied the DRM being the problem. The DRM means that players must be online to play. Thus making it impossible for players to play offline: even if they don’t wish to make their city part of the large online world.
Hopefully EA can act to solve the current mess that SimCity is in. Stable servers or removing the DRM seems their only two options.
