With Battlefield 4 confirmed that it will use the Frostbite 3 engine, it seems that other titles like the next Mass Effect and Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will be using the same engine as well.
From a tweet by Aaryn Flynn of Bioware, he confirmed that their next two planned RPG projects, primarily the Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and the next entry to the Mass Effect franchise will be using the awesome engine of Frostbite 3, in which he confirmed, ‘For everyone who’s been asking after the #BF4 reveal, #DA3 and the next Mass Effect are also using Frostbite 3. It’s awesome’.
Dragon Age 3: Inquisition still has the late 2013 projected date while the new Mass Effect game is still TBA. With two blockbuster RPG franchises set to use Frostbite 3, fans can expect much better and improved visuals.
