Atlus has released a new preview for Shin Megami Tensei IV in the latest issue of the Japanese-only print magazine Famitsu Weekly, delivering a solid release date and information about an upcoming bundle according to The Magic Box.
The latest entry into the post-apocalyptic demon summoning RPG series is set to arrive on store shelves in Japan on May 23rd. Shin Megami Tensei IV‘s first print run will also come packed in with a sound and art collection album. For those following Atlus’ releases here in the states, this typically equates to a miniature art book and sountrack CD To celebrate the upcoming entry into the Megami Tensei series, Nintendo and Atlus are partnering up to release a new monochrome 3DS XL (3DS LL, in Japan) console with a design unique to this bundle. Pricing and other information for the Famicom DX pack have not been finalized.
For those interested in importing Shin Megami Tensei IV, please note that the 3DS console is region locked and you will need a console from the home region of the software.
