The developer of the critically acclaimed Knights of the Republic II shared with RockPaperShotgun its plan to make a new Star Wars RPG.
In an interview with Obsidian’s CEO Feargus Urquhart, the company has been planning to develop a new Star Wars game that will take place between Episode III and IV. As of right now, Obsidian keeps on pitching the idea to LucasArts and has been waiting for approval ever since. Since BioWare’s The Old Republic was not received well by fans, they want the next Star Wars RPG game to focus at the time where Jedi are being wiped out from the galaxy by Darth Vader.
For Star Wars fan, this is really good news. Let’s hope that LucasArts will come to a conclusion to have Obsidian make the new Star Wars game since KOTOR II was a decent game in itself,
