Remember when Capcom said that cross-region online play will not happen in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U and 3DS? Apparently, they changed their mind as they announced that EU and US will have a patch that will allow them to interact with one another during online play.
When the game comes out this March, players will receive a software update that will allow cross-region online multiplayer play between US and European players. Also, the update will also let players to play the game on the Wii U’s GamePad without the need for a TV screen.
In addition to the exciting news that Capcom announced today, they also announced that the game will be receiving free downloadable content from launch more frequently.
