Frank Gibeau, President of EA Labels, ha recently spoken about the transition to next gen consoles and about the PlayStation 4.
Gibeau posted up a brand new blog post recently highlighting EA’s stance on the announcement of Sony’s PlayStation 4 and developing for it. On the topic of the PS4 unveiling Gibeau commented, “Yesterday Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4, signaling that after seven years, gamers will be treated to a massive leap in technology, creativity and fun.” He went onto say that, “For EA’s creative teams, this transition comes as no surprise. We’ve been investing and innovating on new technology for months. Console partners who have seen our early work agree, EA’s next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing.”
To add to that Gibeau went onto say that earlier this week EA showed a sneak peak of Battlefield 4 to 500 GameStop managers to which “The game received a huge ovation.” Now let’s hope we get to see what they did sooner rather than later.
