Robert Reed has today revealed the change log for the latest version of Timber and Stone, beta version 0.1.8.
Timber and Stone is an intriguing mix of a real time strategy game with a Minecraft build and survive feel. Players take control of multiple villages to build defences and homes, farm and forage for food and try to survive as a village. Reed had previously mentioned that the next couple of updates would revolve around bug fixing and he has kept to his word. Below is the complete change log list released earlier by Reed:
Change Log For Version 0.1.8beta.
- Wolves no longer walk through doors.
- Units can now die from starvation.
- New Designation – Chop. Works similarly to mining/building designation, allowing you to select which trees you wish to chop. Including the shift+alt modifier to remove trees. Right clicking still works to select individual trees.
- Trees and bushes can now be removed from the Wood Choppers work queue, this is done by right clicking on the bush/tree and selecting “Cancel Removing/Do not Chop”.
- Due to a Unity error, the modifier key controls menu had to be changed.
- Experience gained from building structures has been adjusted, structures that require more resources tend to yield more experience. (This also remedied the next bug fix.)
- Engineers can now level up.
- Fixed a mouse picking error that resulted in the bottom portion of the screen to become un-selectable until the camera zoom changed. Hard to describe, but if you’ve ever experienced this, you know the error I’m referring to.
- Training structures (Archery Target & Training Dummy) resource costs have been adjusted.
- Training Structures’ durability has been increased, this is also affected by the Engineer’s level when they were crafted. For example, an Archery Target built by a level 20 Engineer can last twice as long as one crafted by a level 1 Engineer.
- There is now a toggle setting in the Training Structure’s menu that allows the structure to be rebuilt when it has deteriorated, without requiring the player to redesignate it.
- Goblin Archers now check line of sight before shooting wildly into your walls.
