Three Miracles
Obtained the same item for 3 continuous times with miracles “Spelunker” (Console)
In Spelunker (Console) there are items called miracles (orb with a red dot in the middle), which will give you some random item. For this trophy you need to get the same item 3 times in a row. At first this might sound hard to do, but you can freely abuse saves for this trophy. Since that removes most of the luck involved with it, I strongly suggest picking something like Energy, Bombs, Flares or Lives, as you can tell when you pick those items up. To give you a better idea what to do, I included a video of it below, plus you can find a map of the full game under “Pro Spelunker!”.
Dark Tourism
Finished the first level without blowing off the ghosts in “Spelunker” (Console)
For this trophy you need to beat the first level without killing a ghost. This means you can’t use your fan on him, nor can you die when he appears. At first this might sound impossible to do, but ghosts spawn randomly in the console version, so it’s completely possible to not have one spawn. For more information please check out the video below.
Ultimate Diamond
Obtained 10,000pts diamond “Spelunker” (Console)
Let me start by saying there isn’t a diamond worth 10,000 points in Spelunker (Console). The trophy is actually asking you to collect a rare secret item called “2X” (how it displays in game) and pick up a diamond (5,000 points) for 10,000 points. Considering it can be a bitch finding all the diamonds / locations to spawn the hidden items, I included a photo guide of this under “Pro Spelunker!”. Just look at the guided version and remember that red circles are diamonds (use a bomb to uncover) and blue circles are to spawn secret items (you might need to jump). Consider this still might sound confusing, I strongly suggest you check out the video below for more information.

Xanadu
Reach the final goal in “Spelunker” (Arcade)
Unlike Spelunker II 23 Keys, Spelunker (Arcade) is a fairly straightforward adventure to the bottom. The only real difference is that you don’t get bombs upon continuing, which means it’s possible to ultimately get stuck forward at a certain part. My only real advice is to save often and only use a bomb when you absolutely have to.
The Wedding
Reach the final goal in “Spelunker II 23 Keys”
Since Spelunker II 23 Keys is an arcade port and arcade games make money from you failing, this game is pretty convoluted. Pretty much every key has some sort of trick to it, which includes the following things.
- Jumping into the wall.
- Shooting the wall.
- Shooting away from the wall.
- Dropping a bomb.
- Climbing a rope to the top.
- Using an item.
So if you see a key with no clue how to get it, I strongly suggest trying these tricks out.
The Dazzling Pyramid
Reach the final goal in “Spelunker” (Original)
While Pro Spelunker! might sound like the hardest trophy, it’s actually beating the original game. This is largely due to the awful level design and several paths offering nothing more than death or items to continue on your journey. Since this game is a pain in the ass to deal with, I included a complete picture of the game below. This might be hard for some to understand, so I also included a “guided” version too.

Guided Map (Right Click > Open in new Tab)
Since the guided map can be confusing to understand, you can find a complete explanation of it below.
At the start of the game you must grab some supplies. I believe the absolute minimal is two bombs and two flares for the bats. You can get the first flare / bomb on the second path and you can get the second flare by taking the elevator down to the bat. Do not do anything besides pick up the flare, since this will only prove to be counter productive.
Once you collect all three keys you’re ready to go, so take the elevator to the bottom floor. After you get past the bat there, you will come to the first leap of faith segment. You see, unlike Spelunker (Console) / Spelunker HD this won’t kill you, but you MUST jump enough to have a place to land. You can see me doing this in the “Beyond the Mines” video.
At this point the game becomes pretty straightforward, that is till you hit the water segment. To do this part you need to take the barrel down and then head to the left. Here you need to grab the blue-circled item, then follow the yellow arrow to the green-circled item. The Spelunker will place it on the floor, which will give you a rope to climb for the key. Finally head to the exit, but pay close attention to the blue arrow. Contrary to what you might expect, the only way to survive this jump is to WALK over the edge (must be on the bottom).
The final tricky part is the pyramid segment, which is because the keys are used on the actual pyramid in question. You can see the white arrows pointing this out, so don’t freak out when you hit this point. After completing this segment you can open the purple doors, but don’t cross the bridge they form. You actually need to time the boat to get across, so try not to lose a life being stupid. The rest should be a pretty straight shot, though you will be constantly seeing ghosts… don’t fret, just play smart and save often.

Pro Spelunker!
Reach the final goal without a miss in “Spelunker” (Console)
Would any classic game be complete without the “beat the game perfectly” trophy? I like to think not, though it doesn’t really matter since you can abuse saving for this trophy. Also Spelunker (Console) is quite similar to Spelunker HD, which means you should have a good idea how to do it. Regardless I also included a complete picture of the game and made an edited version for your convenience.

For those looking at the guided map, the red circles are where diamonds are and the blue ones indicate secret items (might need to jump to unlock them).
