Project Shield is entering into a highly fought market and Sony Chief Executive Kazuo Hirai thinks it is too early to tell how it will turn out for NVIDIA.
The device which has only recently been unveiled under its codenamed “Project Shield” is apparently to run on Android’s Jellybean OS. Talking to The Wall Street Journal about the newly announced handheld device, Hirai commented that it was too early to tell if it will succeed adding “it’s not an easy business to get into”.
With plenty of competition from the likes of Sony, Nintendo and even Apple the mobile-gaming space is rather full but NVIDIA are hoping to be the next big thing with Project Shield.
