While the new PlayStation Store might look a lot better than the old one, its overall performance has been awful. Unfortunately this has resulted in many people avoiding the store, unless they really wanted something that came out that week or to obtain this weeks Plus game. However, Sony has released the first of what we can only hope is many updates to resolve the problems with the store.
For those interested in giving the new store a go, simply click the PlayStatore Store icon and install the update. After this you’ll be on version 1.02, which is noticeably faster than the previous versions, but be warned the boot up is still slow. If you’re still experiencing extreme problems after the update, some users have found success with deleting the store and then reinstalling it.
