There have only been rumors of Rebellion’s 2012 tactical shooter making its way to Wii U, but now it looks like two retailers have confirmed its existence. According to Amazon and GameStop, Elite Sniper Karl Fairburn will be heading to Nintendo’s newest console this May and will cost $49.99.
Currently, there is one discrepancy between the two retailers’ product listings. Amazon lists Sniper Elite V2 as releasing on May 21st, which makes sense given that the provided date is a Tuesday (the usual release date for video games in North America). GameStop, on the other hand, has given the game a date of May 24th, which is the following Friday. Games are not typically released at the end of the week, with some exceptions. For now, we will have to wait for an official announcement from 505 Games.
