The Vita version of DoA 5, titled Dead or Alive 5 Plus, will feature Cross Play, Cross Save and Cross Buy DLC. As long as you have both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita copies, you’ll be able to indulge in some cross-platform combat, continue your story whether you’re home with your console or away with your handheld and you won’t even be asked to buy add-on content twice. Regarding the downloadable content, the Paradise costumes available in the initial run of Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be accessible on the PS3 version after being redeemed.
These supported features make the portable fighter even more enticing. If the game’s portable counterpart can live up to the high bar set by the console version (our praise-filled review here), it’ll make for a great entry in the Vita’s lineup.
