Trademark Issues For The War Z Name Change Probable

For Hammerpoint Interactive and The War Z team the holiday season can’t be a happy one as things have seemingly gone from bad to worse.

It appears that the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) has currently suspended the trademark for Hammerpoint Interactive’s zombie title ‘War Z’. The sighted reason behind the trademark suspension is that The War Z is too similar to Paramount Pictures’ upcoming movie starring Brad Pitt, World War Z.

After the game was removed from Steam and now the trademark issues with the name The War Z the game may be struggling however it isn’t 100% done with; after a name change the game could be back.
