Square Enix has released the first trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
Much like several Japanese publications have already reported, Lightning will be wearing an all-new costume in the game and it looks like she can freely explore the city she’s roaming in. The trailer shows that combat in the game will remain pretty similar to the previous games and the graphics are on par with them as well.
No release date has been shared, although it’s expected for release sometime in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It’s rumored to be released as early as March 2013, although this has yet to be confirmed.
