Today, Gearbox forum members uncovered the name of the next Borderlands 2 DLC. “Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt”, as it’s called, was found under the game’s trophy section on PlayStation 3 following an update. The three associated trophies, which reveal a new environment, fall in line with what we’ve seen from the past two expansions.
They are as follows:
- Face Off (Bronze)
- Completed the mission: “The Fall of Nakayama”
- Done that (Gold)
- Completed all Hammerlocks hunt side missions.
- Discovered all named locations in Hammerlocks Hunt.
Been there (Silver)
Shortly after this discovery, Polgyon reached out to a Gearbox spokesperson who was able to confirm that the next DLC was, indeed, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. Other than knowing that this will be included in the Season Pass, no further information is currently available, but many are hoping that this add-on content will bring the highly-anticipated level cap increase.
